Olivet's Healthcare Administration concentration incorporates the Lean Continuous Process Improvement course taught by leaders in healthcare administration.
Students work alongside hospital staff to improve efficiency and quality and can apply for medical center internships.
Internship Requirement
Career Management activities are designed for students to discover their strengths and to help them attain an internship their junior and senior year. A full-time Internship Coordinator works with each student to help them obtain an internship in their specific field.
Healthcare Management Club
Olivet's Healthcare Management Club consists of business and nursing students dedicated to the advancement of health care and the compassionate management of patients and care givers. Club members are challenged to engage with medical professionals and volunteers in the medical community to promote their professional standing in local hospitals, nursing homes and hospice centers. Each year the Healthcare Management Club attends a local conference to expand their experience, network and contribute to the advancement of healthcare management.
