Baccalaureate

Friday, May 8, 2026
  • 7:30 p.m. – Baccalaureate Service – For all graduates and their families, Centennial Chapel

Commencement

Saturday, May 9, 2026
  • 9:30 a.m. – Traditional Undergraduate Commencement, Centennial Chapel (doors open at 8:00 a.m.)
  • 12:30 p.m. – ROTC Commissioning Ceremony, Larsen Fine Arts Center, Kresge Auditorium
  • 2:30 p.m. – Graduate Commencement, Centennial Chapel (doors open at 1:00 p.m.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the 9:30 a.m. traditional undergraduate commencement (graduation) ceremony is a ticketed event. Each student will receive four (4) tickets. Tickets are required to attend. Tickets are not required in our two overflow areas (Wisner Hall of Nursing and Chalfant Hall).

Tickets are not required for the 2:30 p.m. graduate commencement (graduation) ceremony.

If your child is able to sit on your lap for the entirety of the ceremony, he/she does not need a ticket to attend.

Each traditional, undergraduate student receives four (4) free tickets. No extra tickets are available. If you are in need of extra tickets, have your student ask his/her friends for any extra/unused tickets or use the overflow areas which do not require tickets.

The overflow areas are in Wisner Hall of Nursing and Chalfant Hall.

Baccalaureate is a cherished tradition that offers a time of spiritual reflection and celebration that focuses on our traditional undergraduate students and their families. This service includes inspiring messages, music and moments of gratitude, honoring the academic journey and God’s faithfulness throughout. It marks a meaningful beginning to Commencement weekend.

For special seating accommodations during Baccalaureate or Commencement, please contact Beth Conway at baconway@olivet.edu. She will be happy to assist with arrangements to ensure all guests are comfortable and supported. Early requests are encouraged to help us serve you best.

No pets or Emotional Support Animals (ESA) are allowed. Service Animals are allowed.

No balloons or signage are allowed as they may cause viewing issues for others.
