As we prepare our hearts and homes for the holiday season, Olivet Nazarene University invites alumni, family and friends to wrap students in support that makes a real and lasting difference. On Tuesday, December 2, Olivet will celebrate its sixth annual Giving Tuesday event, participating in a global generosity movement that began in 2012 and continues to inspire meaningful charitable action during the holiday season.
On this day, the greater Olivet community comes together to celebrate generosity in action. When you give to Olivet, you directly fuel life-changing student experiences, expand scholarship opportunities, enhance athletic programs and strengthen the foundation of a Christ-centered educational community. Your generosity empowers students to learn, lead and grow in ways that prepare them to boldly live out their calling in the world.
“This is such a busy time of year for us all, but Giving Tuesday is a moment to pause and give back,” says Austin Brown, director of The Olivet Fund. “Whether you just give to Olivet, or choose a few deserving organizations, we hope Giving Tuesday is a meaningful day for you.”
This year, we invite you to support Olivet’s mission. You can give to a specific project or select “Where Needed Most,” ensuring your support meets the University’s greatest opportunities.
And in the spirit of Giving Tuesday, there’s a special way we’d like to say thank you in return.
When you make a gift of $25 or more, you’ll receive an exclusive pair of Olivet socks — a small but meaningful reminder of the warmth your generosity brings to students. Whether you wear them proudly or gift them to a fellow Tiger, they’re a perfect way to show your Olivet spirit.
Together, we can make a difference that lasts far beyond this season. Join us and help create opportunities that shape students’ lives for years to come.
