BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Anticipation is building for Olivet Nazarene University’s 2025 Homecoming and Family Weekend—and now, it’s time to save your spot! Tickets for all signature events are officially live and can be reserved online at olivet.edu/hc or by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at 815-939-5258.

From beloved traditions to exciting new additions, this year’s Homecoming and Family Weekend promises something for everyone. Highlights include:

  • ONU Tiger Athletics and Family Tailgate: Cheer on the Tigers at one of our ONU Tiger Athletic events throughout the weekend and enjoy a festive tailgate on Saturday filled with food, games and family fun.
  • The 5th Quarter Fair: Back by popular demand, our second annual post-game celebration on Friday night offers food, fun, and fellowship after the basketball games.
  • An Evening of Worship with Meredith Andrews: Join us Saturday night for a powerful evening of worship hosted by Shine.FM and featuring award-winning artist Meredith Andrews and Olivet’s School of Music.
  • Benner Library’s 50th Year Celebration Event: Join us as we celebrate 50 years of scholarship and service with a variety of events and activities!
  • President’s Prayer Breakfast: Our weekend events will conclude Sunday morning with reflection, community and encouragement. You don’t want to miss out!

We’re also thrilled to welcome back the Classes of 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020—as well as our cherished Purple & Gold alumni (graduates from 1974 and earlier)—for class reunions throughout the weekend.

All tickets are digital! Be sure to get yours soon.
Attendees will receive a confirmation email containing a scannable QR code that can be printed or saved to your phone. Your code will be scanned at each event. If you need assistance registering or accessing your digital ticket, our team is happy to help.

Homecoming & Family Weekend is one of the best times to experience life at Olivet—filled with memories, reconnection, and inspiration. Hannah Priest ’21/’22 MBA is passionate about people and sharing their stories. After graduating from Olivet with a degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, she has found much joy in serving as the associate director of Alumni and University Relations at Olivet and a freelance writer. In her role, she has the ability to celebrate the accomplishments of those in the Olivet community and share stories of their meaningful experiences from their time at ONU and beyond. Outside of her work at Olivet, she is also a feature editor for SPLENDEUR magazine, an up-and-coming small business aimed at encouraging, equipping and empowering women to find their God-given purpose in whatever season of life they are in.
