The spring semester is a great time for high school and prospective transfer students to schedule visits to colleges and universities. While there is endless information online, actually stepping foot on a campus in-person is a valuable step in the college selection process.

The team in the Office of Admissions at Olivet Nazarene University is looking forward to welcoming you for a campus visit in spring 2026. With a range of special event days (some catering specifically to transfers, juniors, seniors, and students interested in music or ministry), plus personalized campus visits on most week days, there are plenty of options for you to come to Olivet and experience why we believe you belong here.

Personalized Campus Visit

The perfect time to connect with other students and Olivet professors is when classes are in session—which is almost every day of the regular semester. Personalized campus visit days are uniquely structured to give visitors an insider’s perspective on campus life. You will meet with your admission counselor, so that you have a clear picture of the application process for the University. Additionally, you’ll meet with a financial aid team member who can help you get started on the FAFSA application and provide resources for federal, state and private aid options.

During a campus visit, the admissions team takes great care to connect prospective students and their families with faculty in their desired field of study. We’re also happy to arrange meetings with ONU Athletics staff, conductors of music ensembles, the director of the University Honors Program, and staff from the Accessibility and Disability Resources team.

Each personalized visit also includes a tour of campus, guided by a current Olivet student. You’ll also get to eat a meal in Ludwig Center, stop by the on-campus Starbucks, peruse the Spirit Store, check out the library and get a comprehensive feel for what your life at Olivet will feel like. Every prospective student who visits will also receive a $1000 scholarship, which is applied to your financial aid award.

Special Visit Days

In addition to personalized campus visit opportunities, the Office of Admissions hosts multiple special event visit days each semester. In addition to what is offered on a personalized campus visit, these large group gatherings include unique moments to connect with other prospective students through social activities. Programming also includes insightful information from campus leaders and student panels.

These events require advance registration, and can fill up quickly, so please go to Olivet.edu/Visit and select the type of visit experience that works for you.

If distance is a barrier to you scheduling a campus visit, check out our Fly On Us initiative. We feel that your visit to Olivet is so important that we will reimburse a prospective student’s airfare up to $500 for a visit to campus prior to June 1.
