Two Chicagoland area institutions are working to ensure students can continue their educational journey with confidence and support.

Olivet Nazarene University and Trinity Christian College have established a generous transfer partnership designed to welcome Trinity students into the Olivet community should they choose to continue their undergraduate education at Olivet’s Bourbonnais campus.

“We recognize that students’ paths through higher education can take unexpected turns,” said Dr. Mark Reddy, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Olivet Nazarene University. “When Trinity students are ready to continue their academic journey, we want them to know there’s a place for them at Olivet—a community that shares their commitment to faith-centered learning and academic excellence.”

Dr. Reddy expressed deep appreciation for Trinity’s legacy in Christian higher education. “We have great respect for the people of Trinity Christian College and are grateful for their decades of outstanding service to students and the Church,” he said. “Their commitment to integrating faith and learning has made a lasting impact on countless lives.”

The partnership reflects the shared mission of both institutions: providing relevant liberal arts education grounded in Christian perspective.

Under this collaborative agreement, Trinity students transferring to Olivet will benefit from streamlined credit transfer processes and dedicated advising to help them find their path among Olivet’s 140+ areas of study. The University’s commitment to affordability—awarding over $110 million in financial aid annually—ensures that Christian education remains accessible to students from all economic backgrounds.

“This isn’t just about transferring credits,” Dr. Reddy noted. “It’s about welcoming students into a community where they belong, where dedicated faculty will mentor them and where they can discover their unique calling while building toward meaningful careers.”

For Trinity students considering their options, Olivet’s doors are open wide. The University encourages prospective transfer students to schedule personalized campus visits or connect with admissions advisors who can help map out how their Trinity coursework will apply toward an Olivet degree.

“We’re sister institutions in faith and mission,” Dr. Reddy added. “When students are ready to write their next chapter, we’re honored to walk alongside them at Olivet.”
