On Sept. 22, 2026, U.S. News & World Report released the 2027 “Best Colleges” report. Olivet Nazarene University once again received distinguished recognition including a ranking as a best Regional University (Midwest) and as a Top Private School—Regional Universities (Midwest).
The University was also recognized as a Top Performer on Social Mobility, acknowledging that undergraduates who enter college at a social and/or economic disadvantage often experience positive outcomes at Olivet. Additionally, Olivet was ranked as a best Undergraduate Engineering Program (in a category of schools where doctoral degrees in engineering are not offered), and was recognized on the Nursing rankings.

The U.S. News rankings take into consideration factors including retention and graduation rates, faculty and financial resources, student excellence and alumni engagement.
