Elizabeth K. Waldon is Director of Music Ministries at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Downers Grove, where she leads an extensive worship and music program including multiple choirs and comprehensive worship planning. Betsy holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ and Church Music from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, where she studied with Dr. John Ferguson; and a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, studying with Larry Smith. Betsy has been a featured organ soloist with several local chamber orchestras and is the choral accompanist for Cass Junior High School in Darien. A member of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, Betsy currently serves as Dean of the Fox Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
