Olivet students who choose a concentration in certified financial planning manage actual financial assets and learn best practices in investment management.
Students have opportunities to earn the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certificate that is recognized by the CFP Board of Standards.
CFP Exam
The CFP Board is a non-profit organization that fosters professional standards in personal finance planning through its setting and enforcement of the education, examination, experience, ethics and other requirements for CFP certifications. Olivet students who take the CFP exam are typically above a 70% pass rate compared to the 64% national pass rate.
