Christian Education Major or Minor
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or minor in Christian Education is utilized for those seeking to have a solid foundation of what discipleship means in the local church.
The Christian education major is designed for students called to full-time vocational ministry in either the church or parachurch setting. The core of the degree equips students with a strong biblical and theological foundation alongside practical tools for ministry while allowing students the flexibility to customize the focus of the degree in the student’s areas of interest. Students who complete this degree serve in local churches as well as parachurch organizations such as Youth for Christ, church camps, sports ministries, and a variety of other ministries outside of the church setting. This degree supports the possibility of a double major for those pursuing a bi- vocational ministry.
