Command & General Staff College Partnership

Army officers attending Command and General Staff College (CGSC) can now turn their professional military education into graduate-level credit at Olivet Nazarene University.

Through this partnership pathway, your CGSC Intermediate Level Education (ILE) Common Core coursework can be applied directly toward either a M>aster of Business Administration (MBA)or a Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL).

How the Program Works

Olivet recognizes the rigor and leadership development built into CGSC. This program is built around the realities of Army life. Flexible 8-week courses allow you to pause your course to work around training, and with the online format you can complete this degree anywhere in the world.

Officers who complete the CGSC Common Core may:

• Receive credit equivalent to the Strategic Leadership Certificate (three graduate courses)
• Apply that credit directly toward their master’s degree

This streamlined pathway allows officers to complete:

• Only 9 additional courses at Olivet
• Finish their degree faster with reduced cost and time

Officers can begin their MBA or MOL before, during, or after completing CGSC. Degrees are awarded once official CGSC transcripts are transferred to Olivet and when all Olivet coursework and all CGSC Common Core is completed.
