BOURBONNAIS, IL. – The Olivet Nazarene University women’s track & field team dominated the 2026 CCAC Indoor Championships, winning the conference title with 243.5 points, the top total after 19 events, in front of a home crowd at the Douglas E. Perry Student Life & Recreation Center. The two‑day championship meet was hosted on ONU’s campus February 20–21. ONU excelled across all event groups, securing multiple individual conference titles, a relay championship, and broke several school and meet records in the process.
Leading the way for the women’s team were several event champions.
- Carsyn Burdine — 200m (24.83) and 400m (57.18)
- Heidi Heldt — 1000m (2:50.55) and Mile (5:06.12)
- Olivia Lentz — 600m (1:35.09)
- Amanda Gustafson — Shot Put (13.77m) and Weight Throw (15.06m)
- Hailey Perrine — Long Jump (5.60m)
- Sophie Dagnall — High Jump (1.60m)
- 4×400 Relay — Burdine, Teleyah Covington, Kristen Garth, and Lentz (3:54.46)
Additionally, school and meet records were set in various events.
- Burdine broke the 60m school record (7.79)
- Heldt broke the 1000m school and meet records (2:50.55) and the Mile meet record (5:06.12)
- Burdine, Covington, Garth, and Lentz broke the 4x400m meet record (3:54.46)
ONU was well-represented in the Awards portion of the event as well, with a few individuals being recognized for their contributions and accomplishments.

- Carsyn Burdine — Most Valuable Athlete (highest point scorer)
- Zontavius Johnson (sprints/hurdles) — Assistant Coach of the Year
- Kyle Rago — Coach of the Year
The Tigers now shift their focus toward the NAIA Indoor National Championships, held in Gainesville, Fla. from March 5-7.
