‘Tis the season for festive holiday activities, and the School of Music at Olivet Nazarene University will once again present two annual favorites in Centennial Chapel.

On Saturday, November 22, members of the University Orchestra and combined choirs will present Handel’s Messiah. This time-honored oratoria tells the story of Christ in three parts, from birth through life, death to resurrection, and the prophetic second coming of Jesus.

With scriptural texts from the King James Version of the Bible poetically set to classical melodies, this musical celebration sets the tone for audiences to remember the real reason for the holiday season.
