A scholarship is a form of financial assistance that does not need to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded to those who meet certain criteria, such as intended area of study, family history, geographical location, etc.

These credits must be completed by the end of spring semester each year. Transfer Scholarships and other academic scholarships are not available for summer sessions, and credits earned and GPA achieved in summer sessions do not count toward eligibility requirements until the following fall or spring calculations. If lost, the scholarship may be reinstated if eligibility requirements are met. |

General information | To assist students who qualify for benefits from the Veteran’s Administration, Olivet has a counselor in the Office of Student Financial Services who specializes in these programs. In addition, ONU is part of the federal Yellow Ribbon Program, which helps to fund the tuition for veterans in certain circumstances. The VA counselor can help determine eligibility. Merit Scholarships: Music, athletic, art, theater, ONU Foundation
A variety of athletic scholarships are awarded in multiple sports each year, based upon athletic skill and demonstrated ability. The coaches oversee the awarding of these funds for their respective sports. Contact your counselor who will connect you with the appropriate person from the ONU Department of Athletics regarding specific awards.
A variety of music, art and theater scholarships are awarded annually, based upon excellence in these respective disciplines and other criteria. The individual departments determine the unique criteria for scholarships awarded.
