Schedule a Visit

In order to safeguard our community (and you!) during this uncertain time, we have decided to temporarily suspend in-person campus visits.

However, we are excited to invite you to visit our campus virtually with a new online format starting on April 1. At Olivet, we believe in the value of real-time conversations and meaningful interactions and we are taking the necessary steps to transition to meet with you virtually.

Please email us your name at and we can help you plan your virtual visit!

You Belong Here.

At Olivet, we don’t just say that — it’s in everything we do. Belonging is an important part of this community, where every individual is valued as we work together for a common good.

Find Your Way to Olivet

Olivet is nestled in the historic village of Bourbonnais, Illinois — about an hour from Chicago. Situated on more than 275 acres, the campus consists of both historic and innovative architecture, on beautiful, park-like grounds. Nearby are coffee shops, restaurants and all the amenities a college town affords.

Lodging & Restaurants

If your visit includes an overnight stay, and your family requires lodging, there are plenty of options. Also, while in town, stop at a few of these student favorites.

Visit Chicago

Many of the Olivet group days include a Chicago trip together. For those who choose to visit for a customized day, we recommend including a day trip to Chicago — one of the world’s greatest cities. Catch a Cubs game at Wrigley, see Van Gogh’s famous ‘bedroom’ at the Art Institute, and sample some Chicago pizza at Lou Malnati’s. Ask us for suggestions!

What You’ll Do
Meet Other Students

Current students will serve as your hosts for the day as you tour the campus, visit classes, dine together, and jump into the Olivet scene. Many students make new connections with other visiting families, as well.

Make Your Plans

Each visit includes a brief session with your personal Admissions Counselor, where you can ask the burning enrollment and financial aid questions, and map out your plan for success at Olivet.

Stay With Us

Each student is encouraged to stay overnight on campus with an assigned student — it’s a great way to really know what its like to live at Olivet. Students serve as overnight hosts, including meals together and usually an evening activity on campus.

Fly On Us

Too far to drive to Olivet? We’ve got you covered. Because we feel your personal visit to Olivet is so critical, we invite you to fly on us! Olivet will reimburse your airfare up to $500 for your visit to Olivet prior to June 1.
