With the support of a huge Homecoming crowd, the Tiger football team rose above the cold, damp weather to win against Trinity Bible College (N.D.), 49-6 — their largest win margin of the season.

The last time ONU scored this many points was in 2015 with a 52-45 win over Missouri Baptist. This is also the Tigers’ largest margin in a victory since 2004 when that team defeated Iowa Wesleyan, 43-0.

During this October 28th match up, five different Tigers scored touchdowns. Senior Erik Anderson led the way with three on the ground. Freshman Lashaun Rule, junior Rashaan Gaymon, freshman Jonathan Gladstone and senior Zane Burtron each scored one touchdown.

“We play to our standard, not an opponent,” said Head Coach Eric Hehman. “We did this well today. It is good to see the progress of our team with our fifth win. We look forward to finishing our season strong.”
