To streamline that search process, Olivet’s Office of Career Services hosts HireOlivetians.com. This portal is open to students, alumni and employers. A full-service job search resource, it features job and internship postings, networking, and news and articles about industry trends.
HireOlivetians.com began in 2011 as one of the services offered to students through The David L. Elwood Center for Student Success at Olivet. As of November 16, 2017, more than 7,000 students, alumni and employers are registered users for the site. During the past year alone, employers have posted more than 1,350 job openings there.
“The HireOlivetians.com site is one important way Olivet helps to facilitate more internships and jobs for our students and graduates,” says Dr. Jeff Williamson, executive director of corporate engagement. “This site, combined with our University’s ongoing networking efforts, gives ONU students an advantage over others entering the workforce.”
