LA CROSSE, Wisconsin — Olivet Nazarene University (4-2, 2-0) secured an 82-74 victory over Viterbo University (2-5, 0-2) at R.W. Beggs, Sr. Gymnasium, buoyed by a strong second-half performance. The Tigers shot 48.3% from the field and converted 94.1% of its free throws.

The first half opened with a competitive exchange as the Tigers and Viterbo traded leads multiple times. Dylan Fey‘s early contributions included a series of free throws and a 3-pointer, pushing the Tigers to a brief four-point advantage at 16:24. Later, Mason Wood‘s jumper at 1:35 reclaimed a slim lead for the Tigers, but Viterbo responded down the stretch. Braden Crubel’s 3-pointer in the final seconds gave Viterbo the edge, closing the half with a 36–33 lead over Olivet.

The Tigers took control in the second half, building a 13-point advantage at 2:58. Caleb Corro played a pivotal role, contributing multiple key baskets, including a layup and a 3-pointer, along with several free throws to maintain the edge. Despite Viterbo’s efforts to close the gap, the Tigers’ efficient shooting, going 16-for-25 from the field and strong defensive rebounding kept them ahead throughout the half. The game concluded with the Tigers securing an 82–74 victory.

Wood led the team with 23 points, shooting 10 of 15 from the field and added seven rebounds. Corro scored 24 points, converting all nine of his free throw attempts and securing four rebounds. Fey contributed 11 points, hitting two 3-pointers and going 5 for 5 from the free-throw line. Andrew Bennett recorded five assists and added eight points, including two 3-pointers.

The Tigers return home on Tuesday, Nov. 25 to face the Trinity Christian College Trolls.
