In just one day, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends at Olivet Nazarene University rallied around more than 50 campus-wide projects and programs, resulting in over $1.4 million raised from more than 2,100 donors—surpassing this year’s goal in a remarkable way.
“Day of Giving has proven to be a key event on the campus calendar,” said Austin Brown ’19/’21 M.A., Director of Annual & Leadership Giving. “I’m so grateful to our alumni, faculty, staff, students and all friends of Olivet who came together to make this a million-dollar day—and then some.”
Centered on the theme “1 Day. 1 Mission. 1 Million.”, this year’s Day of Giving celebrated more than a decade of generosity while highlighting the collective impact of coming together for a shared mission.

From early morning momentum to the final push, the day reflected a spirit of generosity that continues to define the Olivet community. Eight of the 50 projects received full funding, with several others coming close to their goals. Every dollar raised will help students meaningfully engage in the programs and opportunities that shape the Olivet experience.

Beyond the numbers, the day was marked by a new level of energy and engagement on campus. For the first time, Olivet hosted an in-person Day of Giving celebration, bringing students and the campus community together in a tangible and memorable way. The event featured cake pops, photo booths, a project fair and the inaugural Day of Giving 5K Color Run, which drew more than 300 participants and added a vibrant, celebratory element to the day.
Thank you to the Olivet community for your generosity, prayers and support. With another successful Day of Giving complete, we look ahead with gratitude for the thousands who made this milestone possible—and anticipation for what the future holds.
