Management Information Systems

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems is a program designed for students who are interested in the development, application and management of an organization’s technological infrastructure.

Students studying management information systems become experts in analyzing, processing, collecting and storing information. Olivet’s in-depth program prepares students to enter this challenging field far ahead of their peers. Students will design and manage the technical tools for effective communication; conduct research on customers, clients, marketing and productivity; build software to serve specialized needs; create multifaceted website designs; and much more!

Corporate Connections

Olivet students involved in the studies of Managerial Information Systems are given the opportunity to tour Bourbonnais' CSL Behring plant and hear from corporate MIS executives. Through this experience, students learn the design, implementation, and use of computer-based systems within this highly successful global company which is fully utilizing SAP software to manage their entire enterprise.
