The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and minor in Kinesiology is for the student interested in personal well-being, as it relates to exercise and nutrition.
Kinesiology includes the study of the human body – bones, muscles, skin, tissue – and human movement. Learn how to keep the body in top condition. Appreciate the effects that nutrition and exercise have on the body. Understand injury and illness prevention and ways to help people cope with their injuries. Find new strategies to help people overcome their excuses and fears relating to fitness.

Program Highlights:
Students will benefit from the hands-on, experiential approach that this program takes. They get experience by working with athletes, faculty, staff and students in the fitness center, swimming pools, and field house and build the educational foundation needed to enter a graduate school program for a career as a physical therapist, radiological technician, physician’s assistant, occupational therapist or teacher of biomechanics or exercise physiology on the college level.
