Overview

The Department of General Studies exists to help undergraduate students transition to university-level curriculum, set academic and life goals, and develop academic skills and attitudes required for personal and professional success.

Supporting Students’ Academic Success

Olivet has a variety of General Studies courses in place to support students as they pursue their degrees. Courses are provided for students who want to reinforce the foundational skills necessary to meet and exceed expectations for undergraduate coursework.

Supplemental course instruction is offered for several general education courses.

  • Understand their own learning process and how to apply success strategies to all undergraduate coursework.
