We are excited to host PALCON 2026! This denominational event will be held June 3-5 on Olivet’s campus, and registration is now open! This event has been designed with pastors in mind. We know ministry can be challenging, draining and isolating, so we want PALCON to feel like more of a retreat than a conference.
In addition to plenary sessions and formation opportunities, here are some ways this event will be different:
SOCIAL GATHERINGS – Each evening will feature a gathering in our newly renovated quad where pastors can connect, enjoy live music, chat with others and relax.
RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES – Participants will have the option to engage in activities like pickleball, 3-on-3 basketball, swimming, rock climbing, board games and more! The exercise facilities will also be available for use at various times throughout the event.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION – Time will be set aside for guided prayer daily, and participants have the option to take a bus to a local prairie preserve for solitude and prayer time. We will also have the prayer chapel open throughout the event for solitude, prayer and reflection.
COUNSELING – Members of the Olivet counseling team, as well as other trained professionals will be on hand to meet one-on-one with pastors to provide a space for pastors to talk about personal challenges and offer wise counsel and direction for your ministry context.
KIDS AND TEENS – We are providing programming for kids currently in 1st – 12th grades. 1st – 6th graders will attend PALCON Kids where they will attend their own services, then they’ll get to enjoy some of our campus amenities like the swimming pool and rock wall. Students in 7th – 12th grade will attend the plenary sessions together, then they will have opportunities to attend some formation sessions or enjoy campus activities like the eSports lounge, rock wall, arcade/game room, field house and more!
Registration is now open, and the first 200 to register will receive a free copy of Dr. John Bowling’s latest book, Pilgrimage.
