Ollies Follies: Wacky Games

Ollies Follies is Olivet Nazarene University’s most iconic and time-honored student tradition. For over 50 years, this multi-day event has marked the beginning of the fall semester with a vibrant celebration of class pride, creativity and community. Students from each class—Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors—compete in a series of events that blend athleticism, humor, and performance. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a campus-wide experience that brings students together, fosters lifelong friendships and sets the tone for a year of connection and belonging.

Wacky Games are where things get wild—in the best way possible. Held on the small lawn in the Weber parking lot, this event is a joyful explosion of creativity, chaos and laughter. Students participate in a series of unconventional challenges that might include obstacle courses, relay races with unexpected twists, water balloon battles and messy games. Students often dress head to toe in the class colors and cheering sections are just as animated as the participants. Wacky Games are designed to break the ice, bring people together and create unforgettable memories. It’s the kind of event where you might get soaked, covered in foam, or tangled in a three-legged race—and love every second of it.

This event is not live streamed but watch for the highlight video afterwards.
