Ollies Follies is Olivet Nazarene University’s most iconic and time-honored student tradition. For over 50 years, this multi-day event has marked the beginning of the fall semester with a vibrant celebration of class pride, creativity and community. Students from each class—Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors—compete in a series of events that blend athleticism, humor and performance. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a campus-wide experience that brings students together, fosters lifelong friendships and sets the tone for a year of connection and belonging.
The Variety Show is the grand finale of Ollies Follies and one of the most anticipated nights of the semester where we find out who won. Held in Centennial Chapel, this event transforms the stage into a showcase of student talent, humor and creativity. Each class prepares a themed performance that includes skits, music, dance and storytelling. The Variety Show is where students shine as performers, writers and directors, and where the entire campus comes together to celebrate their creativity. It’s a night that captures the heart of the Olivet experience—community, expression and joy.
