Ollies Follies is Olivet Nazarene University’s most iconic and time-honored student tradition. For over 50 years, this multi-day event has marked the beginning of the fall semester with a vibrant celebration of class pride, creativity and community. Students from each class—Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors—compete in a series of events that blend athleticism, humor and performance. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a campus-wide experience that brings students together, fosters lifelong friendships, and sets the tone for a year of connection and belonging.
The Athletic Games are the competitive core of Ollies Follies. These events are held at Bell West and feature a full lineup of intramural-style sports, including soccer, softball, ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, kickball, men’s flag football and sand volleyball. Each class forms teams to represent their year, in this one night athletic blitz. The atmosphere is electric—students show up in class colors, chant from the sidelines and rally behind their teammates with unmatched enthusiasm. Not playing in a game? No worries! We have bonfire pits where s’mores and friendships alike are formed. You don’t want to miss it!
