Dr. Younger joined the Olivet faculty in 2025. His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, ethical hacking and human-computer interaction.
Prior to academia, he spent 27 years in industry, holding roles at companies including Google, Facebook, eBay and Microsoft.
Born and raised in London, Dr. Younger travelled to Wales to earn his bachelor’s degree in computing, then returned to London to work and complete his Ph.D. in computing in 2019, at the University of West London.
He later moved to the Surrey countryside with his fiancée, Rebecca, to start a family, where their son Alex was born. Following Rebecca’s untimely passing in January 2025, Dr. Younger and Alex relocated to Bourbonnais to begin a new chapter, joined by their labradoodle, Ludo.
