Social Work and Criminal Justice

Professor Pacholski joined Olivet’s faculty team in 2018.  He teaches classes on child welfare, Seminar 1 & 2, and directs all student field placements. He has a license in Social Work and Child Welfare.

Professor Pacholski has experience working with adults and youth in residential mental health settings.  His career has provided him the opportunity to work closely with youth and their families as they navigate mental health/interpersonal crises and assisting them as they rebuild their lives. His career has also given him opportunities to work through the challenges older youth experience while transitioning out of foster care and into independent living.

Professor Pacholski is also the Executive Pastor of Peoples Church in Bourbonnais where he provides leadership, training, and counseling for families. He and his wife, Amy, were married in 2009 and have three daughters: Makayla, Kinleigh, and Emerlynn. He loves being a “girl dad”, reading daily, and helping others find their “next” in their walk with the Lord.
