I was lured here from a comfy job in a nice, quiet, church office by the prospect of summers off. On my first day at the reception window of the very hectic counseling and health service office, I began to question that decision. But it turns out that I love this work! I love assisting the students in finding the help they need, and I’ve gotten much better at not flinching at the sight of a gruesome injury. I feel that I’ve grown in my personal and spiritual life surrounded by the respectful, kind, and supportive atmosphere of this office.
I met my husband, Mike, in Junior High and we both graduated from Olivet in 1981. We have three grown children, four (almost five) grandchildren, and two dogs (and I’m always trying to add more dogs).
