Kyle Peachey, MDV

Chaplain (CPT) Kyle A. Peachey serves as a Military Instructor with the Army ROTC program at Olivet Nazarene University, where he is responsible for mentoring, educating and developing future Army officers. A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and a former Roaring Tiger Battalion cadet, he commissioned into the Illinois Army National Guard in 2011 after previously serving as an enlisted Infantry Soldier.

Throughout his military career, Chaplain Peachey has served in a variety of leadership roles, including assignments as an Adjutant General officer, Chaplain Candidate and Battalion Chaplain. He currently serves as a Battalion Chaplain within the Illinois Army National Guard, providing religious support, confidential counseling, crisis intervention and ethical advisement to Soldiers, families, and commanders. In 2024, he deployed to the Middle East in support of overseas contingency operations.

Chaplain Peachey earned a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies and Military Science from Olivet Nazarene University, as well as a Master of Arts in Family Ministry and a Master of Divinity. He is an ordained minister through the Evangelical Church Alliance and has a deep passion for servant leadership, spiritual care and the development of resilient leaders of character.

As a former Olivet cadet and Class Chaplain, Chaplain Peachey values the opportunity to return to his alma mater to invest in the next generation of Army officers. He is committed to preparing cadets for the responsibilities of military service through mentorship, professional excellence and an emphasis on caring for those they lead.
