Staying informed is a great first step in being an advocate. Our News and Events pages are excellent tools for keeping up with what’s happening on campus. Be sure your contact information is up to date so you can continue receiving important updates, invitations and alumni communications.

There are several ways to connect with current students. You can participate in career fairs, offer mentorship, share career advice, or help connect students with opportunities within your industry or organization. If you’re interested in getting involved, the Office of Alumni Relations would love to help you find the right opportunity.

As an advocate, you can give back through your time, talents, testimony, trust and ties. Sharing why you love Olivet, connecting others to the University, and helping promote the great things happening on campus are meaningful ways to support the Olivet community.

You’re going to make a great Next Generation Advocate! Encourage them to schedule a visit at olivet.edu/visit or contact the Admissions Office at admissions@olivet.edu. If you know your way around campus, it could also be fun to bring them for a visit and share some of your favorite Olivet memories along the way.

Olivet’s Day of Giving is a 24-hour effort when the entire Olivet community rallies around one bold goal: raising support for students and the programs that shape their future. Becoming a Champion is simple—make a gift and invite others to join you. You can help by sending texts, sharing on social media, or encouraging friends who believe in Olivet to participate. Champions help spread the word and play an important role in reaching our goal together.
