A foundational element of life at Olivet Nazarene University is a commitment to providing theologically sound spiritual development for students, faculty and staff. To that end, twice a week, the community gathers in Centennial Chapel to hear pastors, thought leaders, authors and other professional speakers who represent a variety of industries and faith backgrounds. Services, which are held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., feature music led by student and staff musicians to create an environment of intentional worship.

The team in the Office of Spiritual Life have intentionally planned for another semester of well-regarded speakers, whose messages will uniquely explore the theme, “Wake Up — Becoming Who We Are in Christ.” The concept comes from Ephesians 5:14, which says, “That is why it is said, ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’” Spring '26 chapel graphic

The vision for this theme calls for the campus community to consider their identities through a lens of Christ, unpacked through eight core teachings out of the book of Ephesians.

As he launched the theme and lineup of speakers to the campus, University Chaplain Ryan Green wrote, “Each voice brings a unique perspective, but all share a common desire: to help us WAKE UP and make a difference in everyday life… Looking forward to sharing not only the Gospel with you but my very life as well!”
