Crawford Start-Up Studio

This new studio provides a collaborative home for Olivet’s entrepreneurship students, including meetings of their clubs and a place to practice pitches.

The Crawford Start-Up Studio officially opened its doors on April 15, 2024. This studio honors 1942 alumnus Cecil Crawford, a devoted follower of Christ, a strong advocate of Olivet’s mission and a lifelong entrepreneur. Mr. Crawford started or co-founded several successful businesses including Regal Beloit Corporation, Ticketmaster and Masterson Art Products. He and his wife Miriam, had a spirit of generosity that fueled the work of Christ around the world.

This space, dedicated to future business innovators, was made possible through the generous gifts of Greg and Susan Crawford, Dan and Marsha Crawford-Coats and Dale and Karna Jerome.
