Page & Post Type Templates

We created a repository for all the various template pages that we have mocked-up for your website. These templates serve as robust comprehensive versions of each of their respective page types. We understand that not every page will necessitate the full comprehensive variation, so we empower the admins to delete blocks (from their new page/post instance) as they see fit, because content may be lacking in some instances. These templates are meant to serve as the “ideal” look.

Page Templates

Template for School/College pages WITH Departments

This template demonstrates what a more robust school/college page (school/college that also contains departments) looks like.

Template for School/College pages WITH NO Departments

This template demonstrates what a more robust school/college page (school/college that does not contain any departments) looks like.

Template for Department page

This template demonstrates the content strategy and layout for a department page.

Post Type Templates

Template for an Event post

We prefer a more simple approach that leans on the Basic Content page block. We feel most of the content that would need to go on an Event listing can live here. In some instances, however, the admin may want to also supplement a listing with some other info, and there are a couple of page blocks that work nicely.

Template for a Faculty/Staff bio detail

This sample fleshes out a handful of details that we would like to include on all faculty and staff bios, but we understand that this amount of content may not be applicable to everyone.

Template for a News post

We like the more simple approach to News posts, which means leaning on, primarily, the default content editor that exists near the top of the page. In some instances, however, the admin may want to also include page blocks, and the News posts can accommodate that.
