Tiffany Greer

Associate Dean, School of Nursing and Professor

School of Nursing

Dr. Greer serves as the Associate Dean for Olivet’s School of Nursing (undergraduate) and School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

Since joining Olivet’s faculty in 2002, she has served as the faculty sponsor for the Nursing Students Association and the Kappa Sigma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the nursing honor society. She has chaired the Admission, Progression and Retention committee and has served on the RN-BSN committee. She also had an active role in the course development for the Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing (ABSN) degree program.

In her professional nursing career, Dr. Greer has worked as a telemetry staff nurse, an emergency room staff nurse, and as a clinical nurse educator in emergency care.

“I love being part of nursing education at Olivet because we equip new nurses and those furthering their careers for lives of service. Nursing is not just a job, but one of the most trusted professions. We are called to care for people at some of their lowest moments to provide reassurance, presence, comfort, and healing. It is a privilege to be part of preparing high quality curriculum, equipping stellar faculty members, and providing a rich learning environment for students to prepare to enter this great profession, or advance their careers, with a Christian perspective.”

During her free time, she enjoys reading, singing on her church’s praise team, and helping in the church’s children and youth departments. She and her husband, Mitch, have two children. Family time is one of her greatest joys.
