Navigating the financial aspects of higher education can be challenging for both parents and prospective students. However, Olivet Nazarene University understands the importance of affordability and is committed to providing opportunities for students from all walks of life to pursue their educational goals. Through various initiatives and financial aid programs, Olivet strives to make higher education accessible and attainable for everyone.

Middle Class Advantage and Nazarene Guarantee

Olivet Nazarene University recognizes that the cost of university education can be a significant burden for middle-income families. To address this, the university offers a Middle-Class Advantage program, which provides additional financial aid to middle-income families. This initiative aims to ensure that an exceptional university education is within reach for as many students as possible. Furthermore, as a reflection of its association with the International Church of the Nazarene, members of the Church of the Nazarene receive a minimum 50% tuition discount through the Nazarene Guarantee.

Zero Tuition Initiative for Qualified Illinois Residents

ONU also extends its affordability initiatives specifically to Illinois residents. Qualified Illinois families may be eligible for the Zero Tuition option, which offers resident undergraduate students an affordable path to pursuing an Education With a Christian Purpose. This initiative helps alleviate the financial burden on Illinois residents, making Olivet an even more enticing and accessible choice for prospective students in our home state.

Friends and Family Pricing, ONU Next, and Preferred Partner Pricing

Olivet Nazarene University values the support of its alumni, families, and friends. As a result, the university provides various grants and financial aid opportunities to alleviate the cost of tuition. Under the Friends and Family Pricing initiative, students with connections to Olivet can benefit from additional aid. For Olivet graduates seeking to further their education, the ONU Next program presents an option to pursue an MBA or MOL at a significantly discounted rate. Additionally, Olivet offers Preferred Partner Pricing through corporate and organizational partnerships, making education more affordable for employees and members.

“Choosing a university is a significant decision, and Olivet Nazarene University recognizes the importance of providing affordable education. Through our commitment to making higher education accessible, we are so pleased that Olivet is able to offer a range of initiatives and financial aid programs funded by an enormously generous group of alumni and friends. By prioritizing affordability, Olivet strives to ensure that students from all walks of life have the opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations without excessive financial burden.” Mark Reddy, Vice President for Enrollment Management
