Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request a transcript?
There are four options when it comes to ordering transcripts:
Why can't this be done electronically?
The key to a transcript request is your signature. It is this one point that prevents us from accepting either email or telephone transcript requests.
What information should I include?
Along with your signature, please include the following:
How long will it take?
Transcripts are mailed within 3-5 working days following receipt, unless 24-hour processing is requested and paid for. We do not fax transcripts.
What is an "official" transcript?
Official transcripts are printed on SCRIP-SAFE security paper with the name of the University printed in white type across the face of the document. A black-and-white document is not official. Official transcripts are sent directly to an employer, another institution, or to another third party on behalf of the student. If the transcript is released to the student, it will bear the stamp "Issued to Student" on the face of the document. This copy is still an "official" document. How can I get more information?
