Dr. Tauyna Kline believes that continually promoting candidate success involves showing flexibility in style and work schedule, as well as exhibiting a passion for teaching and engaging candidates in the learning process. She believes in relating professional, life, and industry experience to learning by the continuation of technical skills development, the introduction of industry perspective into courses, and the active awareness of industry trends and opportunities.
Her career has expanded from being a Center Director and Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center, a second grade teacher in a low-income public school system, and a faculty member for several universities. With a Bachelors in K-12 Education with a specialization in Math and Science for grades 6-9 and a minor in Children Psychology, Master’s in Curriculum Development and Design, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a minor in Instructional Technology, Dr. Kline has lent her expertise to numerous research projects that center on the use of technology in a diverse society, finding that we always have to adapt and change content, course design and instruction for candidate achievement based on our changing society.
Overall, Dr. Kline understands that an online education can feel isolating, but her mission as an instructor and advise to a candidate is the same – be engaged. Where content may not have to power to bridge the gap, instructors who embrace vulnerability in story-telling and experiences create dynamic classroom relationships.
As a devoted Christian, Dr. Kline loves being able to integrate faith into the curriculum using real-world situations and acknowledging that no matter the spiritual background, we are all on a personal journey of growth and faith.
