As a life-long learner, Stephanie Plourde shares the core values of Olivet Online. As an adjunct instructor, she aims to inspire, educate, and engage teachers as they further their education and achieve their professional learning goals. Stephanie brings 25 years of educational experience to the university. She has worked as a teacher and administrator, a school improvement coach for American Institutes for Research, and a Professional Learning Consultant for the Illinois State Board of Education.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in education from Northern Illinois University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She is a Doctoral candidate, pursuing her Ed.D in curriculum and instruction. Stephanie has volunteered as cultural exchange host parent and liaison, and as a Sunday School teacher and Awana Leader. Stephanie and her husband Steve enjoy boating, and spending time at the Poplar Grove Airport where she is a board member and secretary for the Poplar Grove Aviation Education Association.
Stephanie loves working for Olivet because of the student-centered focus and uplifting Christian environment in which she can support graduate students as they attain their educational endeavors.
