Professor Teske joined Olivet’s full-time faculty in 2018, teaching child health nursing and clinicals in the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. She is currently pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Olivet.

Her professional nursing career includes an adult telemetry unit; inpatient surgical/trauma unit — where she served as assistant manager and then educator — and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), both at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri; pediatrics in a medical office setting; and teaching pediatric clinicals for Maryville University and Goldfarb’s School of Nursing.

She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse. She and her husband, Jayke, were married in 2015. They are the parents of a son, Wyatt.

Outside of her busy teaching and study schedule, Professor Teske enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and reading.
