Serving Humanity and Sustaining Life

At the core of sustaining human life is the clear, compassionate vision of how to satisfy and nurture physical needs — our own and those of our families and world communities.

At Olivet Nazarene University, the education and training students in the School of Life and Health Sciences receive augment the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the Olivet experience.

Through programs that address some of society's most critical needs, students prepare for a role in developing healthy communities and improving the quality of life for people of all ages and cultures.

Olivet’s programs equip students for a career in some of the fastest-growing occupations in the United States and around the world — health sciences, nursing and health care, family and consumer services, social work and criminal justice. Through rigorous programs of study, research and service, students live and learn the caring and ethical lifestyle of caring professionals.
