Our Great Faith

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religion with a general concentration is for the student who wishes to open their heart and mind to where God is leading. Majoring in religious studies is a direct leap into the next phase of ministry.

Students survey the many ways to access God’s Word, examine and discuss beliefs with professors and classmates, and strengthen faith foundations for the next steps in the faith-building process.

Religious Studies Students
  • Study biblical hermeneutics (interpretation), theology, philosophy.
  • Sharpen skills in collecting, processing, interpreting and presenting information — both orally and in writing.
  • Discuss reading and learn with classmates and professors.
  • Set the Christian faith in the context of today's world.
