Favorite Class at Olivet: My favorite class at Olivet was “Salesmanship”. This class was what really sparked my interest in business and making relationships with other people for a living.
Best Olivet memory: Studying on 2nd floor of the library was one of many amazing memories I have of Olivet. Studying was not always fun, but studying with my amazing group of friends in the same spot on 2nd floor became something I truly miss.
Favorite ONU prof: I had too many! There is no way I can pick just one. I had multiple professors who cared deeply about my life and wanted success for me. One of my favorite things about Olivet are the professors, and I would not be who I am today without them.
What makes Olivet different from other universities: Many things! But looking back, I really appreciated the attention I received from my professors. The help, care, and leadership they gave me was incomparable.
Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy exercising, watching/playing sports, painting, reading, and going to the movies
Favorite extracurricular activity as a student: Intramurals. I loved playing on the same team as all my friends and embarrassing myself almost every night.
Favorite college trip: Going to Redi’s for Easter! Ill never forget the amount of candy I ate and how many dogs I had to play with.
Favorite place to eat in town: Jewel Osco Cornbread, hands down.
Favorite campus tradition: There were plenty of big campus events I enjoyed, but what I loved the most were the meals with friends. Dinner in Ludwig was what I looked forward to every day.
Favorite thing to do in Chicago: I loved going to Chicago to eat something I have never tried before. It's something I have done throughout college and still enjoy doing!
Advice for new students: Try not to worry! Coming into college can be daunting. But I promise you’ll find you’re groove quickly. And in an instant you’ll wonder why you were every worrying! Worrying means you suffer twice!
Favorite Bible verse: "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 (ESV)
