Coach Stamatis is committed to excellence in the classroom and on the basketball court. As one of Olivet's newest professors, she teaches coaching and weight training, individual sport skills, and directs the internships for the exercise science department. She also enjoys teaching courses on wellness, conditioning and fitness when she has the opportunity.

In 2012, she took the helm of Tiger women's basketball as head coach after five seasons as an assistant coach. Accepting this new challenge, she is committed to carrying on the Tigerball tradition.

A native of Phoenix, Ariz., she has also worked as a sports trainer and a certified personal trainer. She is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

In her leisure time, she likes to pursue outdoor activities. Biking, running, camping and swimming are among her favorites. She also enjoys traveling and seeing new places, as well as visiting her family in Phoenix.
