Professor Minarich joined Olivet's faculty in the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies in 2019. Her areas of specialty include: Family medicine, preventative care, and retail health. She has also taught courses in health assessment, technology in health care, fundamentals of nursing, diagnostics for the APRN, complex care for the adult, advanced clinical practicum for nurse educators, and role transition for the APRN.

Laura has been teaching for over four years at various institutions in the Chicago area and has enjoyed both online and live teaching as well as many clinical experiences with students. Her work experience is diverse and includes intensive care, bone marrow transplant and most recently, retail health. In addition to varied work experiences, Laura has lived in France, the Czech Republic, England and the United States.

In her spare time, she values spending time with her husband and four children (Olivia, Alexander, Emma and Avery) more than anything. She is passionate about nursing and is honored to share this passion with her students at Olivet Nazarene University.
