Dr. Lomax joined Olivet’s full-time faculty in 2018, teaching courses in Women’s Health, Advanced Health Assessment, APRN Role Transition, and Advanced Pathophysiology and serving as a preceptor for clinicals. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with future registered nurses, advanced practice nurses and medical students. Her lifelong goal is to uplift and empower others to live at their greatest potential.

A certified nurse midwife with more than 17 years of women’s health experience, Dr. Lomax has served others in many ways. Her professional nursing experience includes working as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, childbirth educator, and clinical nurse educator.

She is most passionate about serving the underserved population. “Providing excellent health care and customer service to those in need and not accustomed to being cared for is important to me,” she says. “Making a huge difference in their lives has long-term benefits for them and for me.”
