Mr. Johnson teaches accounting and business courses in the BBA and MBA programs. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois.
He is currently employed by Olivet Nazarene University as the Director of Finance & Assistant Controller. Prior to his employment at the University he served as a staff accountant for the Kankakee County Government. He earned his BBA from Olivet in 2008 and continued his studies by earning an MBA from Olivet in 2010 and a MAFM (Master of Accounting and Financial Management) from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2015. He enjoys incorporating both his knowledge of the material and his experience in the industry, into the classroom setting.
Mr. Johnson serves on The Salvation Army board, as well as the Treasurer for St. George School District located in Bradley, IL. He previously served on the Kankakee County Board of Illinois in 2015 and has served as President and Trustee for his Church.
Mr. Johnson is married with three young children and resides in the south Chicagoland area. He is a dedicated runner and has completed multiple marathons.
