Fall Organ Recital Series

Featuring Jane Holstein, organist, and Joel Raney, pianist, in an inspiring program.

Jane Holstein has served as an editor with Hope Publishing Company for the last twenty years, and came on board to edit their hymnal, Worship & Rejoice. Upon graduating from Olivet Nazarene University, she continued her studies at the University of Kansas and went on to receive a doctorate of music from Northwestern University. She stays busy as an arranger, clinician, organist, pianist, worship planner, concert artist and grandmother of two.

Joel Raney applies his lifetime of musical experience to the creation of sacred music. His hundred of titles in print with numerous publishers cover choral anthems and instrumental music for every church occasion. His work includes Christmas and Easter musicals, solo piano books, organ and piano duets, music for handbells and many other instrumental works. Joel resides in the Chicago area with his wife, Susie. They have three grown sons who live and work nearby.

The Olivet Nazarene University School of Music offers comprehensive study in Composition, Education, Ministry, Performance and more.  With seasoned faculty and numerous performance opportunities, every genre of music lives and thrives within the halls of the Larsen Fine Arts Center.
