LaMorris is a survivor of the southside of Chicago, where his mother was shot and killed when he was a baby. Growing up without parents, in poverty and a city of violence, he found his own way of survival through gangs, drugs, and basketball. At the age of 19 he had an encounter with Jesus Christ that change him forever. LaMorris graduated from Olivet in 2006 with his bachelor’s degree and in 2012 with his master’s degree in organizational leadership. LaMorris and his wife Megan have four children, and they served as the team chaplains for the Cincinnati Bengals for 8 years. They now serve as the Marriage and Family pastors at Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina.
Chapel services are held weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00am and Thursdays at 9:30am, plus additional revival services in the fall and spring.
