Favorite Class at Olivet: Exilic/Post-Exilic Prophecy & Community with Dr. Mellish. It was a very eye-opening and informative class.
Best Olivet memory: I'll always remember living in the dorms, staying up late with friends, laughing, watching movies and eating donuts.
Favorite ONU prof and why: Dr. Mellish was my favorite professor because he's one of the most knowledgable people I've ever met and he challenged me to think critically about the Bible.
What makes Olivet different from other universities: The staff and faculty members all across Olivet’s campus commit themselves to excellence in all that they do, giving glory to God all the while. It creates a wonderful Christian environment where students can succeed!
Hobbies: I love playing the piano and watching and playing both basketball and baseball.
Favorite extracurricular activity as a student: I was a Resident Assistant for three years, and it was the best decision I made as a student at ONU. I also loved playing music in the chapel band.
Favorite college trip: As I was travelling as a Preaching Ambassador to a church in Indiana, a member of the church brought me into his home where he had an enormous collection of autographed baseball bats, cards, and balls, the second-largest collection of its kind in the country only to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Advice for new students: Work hard, but don't forget to also laugh, learn and love!
Favorite place to eat in town: Jimmy Jo's BBQ
Favorite campus tradition: I always love Ollies Follies!
Favorite thing to do in Chicago: Nothing beats going to Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs!
Favorite Bible verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
